Califon Animal Hospital was founded by Drs. John and Corinne Kenney, originally as Plumstead Vet Clinic. It was purchased by Dr. Deborah Cronin and Dr. Mary Beth Hamorski from the Kenney’s in 1994.
It has always been a mixed animal practice – one of the few in the area.

At Califon Animal Hospital, it is our goal to provide our patients with the highest quality veterinary medicine, and to provide it with compassion. We will strive to constantly expand our veterinary skills and expertise through consultation with other professionals in the field and by participating regularly in continuing education programs. We will recognize our limitations and stay true to our own abilities, always placing the best interests of the animals we serve first. We aim to establish excellent communication with our clients, to educate them regarding prevention, treatment, and prognosis of medical conditions, to always remain sensitive to client concerns, and to work closely with clients towards the common goal of doing what is best for them and their companion animals.
